How to Migrate Your WordPress Site
Migrating a WordPress site is pretty straight forward. With the right guidance, the migration will be quick and seamless. In this tutorial, I will show you how to migrate a WordPress site to a new host.

1) Select a new host
Choose a new web host to where you want to migrate to. To make things easier, I would recommend going with a host which offers free migration. Two of my favorite hosts in this matter are SiteGround and WP Engine.
2) Back up your WordPress files and database
You should always back up your site in case the migration fails. In that case, you can quickly restore the site from backup without any downtime.
3) Start the migration
If your host has free migration, use their plugin to migrate Else, use a migration plugin. I prefer duplicator in these cases. It’s because it’s free and reliable.

4) Switch your DNS settings
Change your DNS nameservers to point to the new ones provided by the host.
